Gas Ovens

Gas ovens began life in England around the mid-1820s due to the experiments of James Sharp. A working gas stove was demonstrated at the 1851 World Fair in London. However the use of gas ovens was delayed by the slow progress of laying the national gas pipe network.

Today’s commercial gas ovens are vastly superior to the early models. As can be seen by the list on the right, there is a wide range of gas ovens in use in today’s kitchens. There are now gas griddles, deck ovens, ranges and much more. Take a few minutes to check our range. You will find plenty of gas oven models with photographs, information and pricing information.
