By this we mean that loading and unloading a deck oven is safe and quick and avoids the need for the operator to lean into the oven.

Deck ovens which are well insulated are economic to run because the oven requires less fuel to reach the necessary temperature.

Moving parts inevitably mean maintenance because movement causes wear. Look for a deck oven with as few moving parts as possible.

Desk ovens should take as little room as possible.
